as the guest house?
would you be delighted or distraught to visit a friend and realize your guest room was a fancy tent in the backyard? i think it would be fabulous. i can only think of one downfall… the middle of the night visit to the loo, through the dark, into the house, quiet as a mouse. other than that, i can’t think of a downside. you?

Delighted (I think) That could be super fun, especially if it looked like that picture and the weather was uber fantastic. Downsides: Mosquitos…nasty buggers. And of course the temperature – hot humid stickiness wouldn’t be too fun…but that all depends on where you live:) So no for a Chicago tent, yes for Denver and California!!
I would need air conditioning and a comfy mattress, but the kids would think this is the most FABULOUS thing ever! I could TOTALLY see this as a guest house for camp 1899, how perfect would that be?

In Illinois, in the summer, yes. Mosquitos!! In Colorado, heck no! Lovely!
Why would you have to go into the house?
