we’ve got shingles.

There’s been crazy busy work going on with our roof (; we love progress!! Especially when it comes to what keeps everything else dry… somehow they snuck a lot more layers of shingles on this house than you’re supposed to, given that only the brick supported everything (sans frame) we can’t believe the house withheld all of the weight! The guys peeled off 6 layers of shingles, most was cut out in sections, the wood underneath showed extensive water damage in spots and we decided to replace everything. Here’s a few photos showing the colors over the years.. I like they had blue and green at some point.. fancy.
