sightseeing in seattle.
4i don’t think we could ♥love♥ this city any more….

One of the cool things about the space needle is how it peeks out over rooftops, surprising you as you walk around the city.. and you can have parties in the lower observation level (we had friends who did this.. how fun would that be?!)… and they have a really good gift shops with all things Seattle…
( a little FYI…the cost to go to the observation deck is $18 per person ($11 per kiddo) or if you eat at the restaurant your admission is free with a $25 minimum per person for lunch or $45 per person for dinner)
this famous fish stand (at the main entrance) gets massive amounts of customers..
maybe his charismatic greetings (;
It is a huge understatement to say we *love* Seattle, it is one of our very favorite places ever. (nothing tops Manhattan & it’s burrows for us but after that…) The city is beautiful, the mountains in the background every which way you look, the waterfront, the parks… everything. But one thing we really love, even though it’s very touristy, is the public market. It’s so alive with energy and is one of the most positive, life’s on the move, everybody’s doing their own dance kind of places. The people care about the products they’re selling and sharing and everything is so fresh. We had a latte every morning, watched the going-ons, the perfect way to start the day. Each day, although the same, is different. We love it! We would move here in a minute except for that one little thing called weather! It’s not sunny often, lots of clouds and more than their fair share of rain (although not downpours like people think). They have one of, if not the highest number of cloudy days in a year of any city in the U.S. and me and the husband are sunshine people. This and only this keeps us from plopping right down and never ever leaving.
this city has more spectacular city/water views of anywhere we’ve ever been..*love*

and birds eye views of the ferries coming and going to the various islands..oh i love ferries.
