where the h#@% did these rocks come from?!

We drove the most amazing stretch of highway yesterday..the Kumeyaay Hwy (named after Native Americans who were settled there). It is unbelievable.. the road winds through millions of boulders..in my life I never. The weather unfortunately worked against us becoming increasingly overcast, rainy and dark, to the point we couldn’t see 5 feet in front of us. (I was a complete nervous wreck) It was so foggy we couldn’t even see the wind turbines (which are massive) until we were right next to them, we did get a pretty sunset as we pulled into San Diego though…
