Pike Place Chinese Cuisine is tucked into a tiny long space inside the Public Market (which we’ve professed our love for here) and has a great view with some of the best Chinese food we’ve had anywhere. The salt & pepper tofu was soooo good, crispy on the outside and like cream cheese on the inside, his dish was chock full of shrimp and my chow mein was perfect. The only really good chow mein we’ve had. It’s one of those places that you could easily walk by and dismiss because of the hustle & bustle of the market combined with the amount of Chinese restaurants in the city but don’t let it pass you by, at least for a lunch. We finished the meal off with a sesame ball, a first for both us, it was good, hard to describe and supposedly one of the best in the city.
