we **LOVE** pike place market
4this famous fish stand (at the main entrance) gets massive amounts of customers..
maybe his charismatic greetings (;
It is a huge understatement to say we *love* Seattle, it is one of our very favorite places ever. (nothing tops Manhattan & it’s burrows for us but after that…) The city is beautiful, the mountains in the background every which way you look, the waterfront, the parks… everything. But one thing we really love, even though it’s very touristy, is the public market. It’s so alive with energy and is one of the most positive, life’s on the move, everybody’s doing their own dance kind of places. The people care about the products they’re selling and sharing and everything is so fresh. We had a latte every morning, watched the going-ons, the perfect way to start the day. Each day, although the same, is different. We love it! We would move here in a minute except for that one little thing called weather! It’s not sunny often, lots of clouds and more than their fair share of rain (although not downpours like people think). They have one of, if not the highest number of cloudy days in a year of any city in the U.S. and me and the husband are sunshine people. This and only this keeps us from plopping right down and never ever leaving.
*please & thank you* link back to us if you re-post something you see here.

Makes me homesick! Love the market, Dan and I used to always stop and get a huge bouquet of flowers (huge, beautiful flowers) for $10 every time we went to dinner at someone’s house or to a family event. So pretty! Wah! Wish we had a trip planned there this summer! Next summer for sure…
j~ i was waiting for you to pipe in with some hometown love for your old stomping grounds (: we don’t know how you ever left!!
don’t remind me……….. wah
Happy you got to spend time in our city! I like taking trips to Pike Place every now and then, and I live here. It’s one of those touristy places that is still really fun.
