celestial teas..
4Funny fact. I don’t like tea, but I try. Over and over, like an insane person. I have bought so many flavors of tea thinking…this will be the one. And it never, ever, is. I always take a sip or two and hate it. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Guilty as charged! Which leads to our little excursion, a quick 45 minutes outside of Denver, to the Celestial Tea Factory.
The tour of the factory is free and they have about 8-10 teas going at all times for free sampling. Neither Sean nor I are super big into guided tours, makes us feel antsy and trapped and wanting to run for our lives. Sad, but true. Anyway, I thought it would be neat so we went in prepared for battle. But… it takes 45 minutes and the factory wasn’t “working” that day so it was just enough to sway us to skip it, for now.
We were tempted to go just to experience the famous peppermint room (famous to all but us since we had never heard of it) but not enough to push us that last bit since no actual activity and production would be available for viewing.
We did sample each and every tea, well I did. Sean tried 2, maybe three and felt like he was being tortured. I kept on my insane brain and tried them all and yep.. horrible each and every one. Nothing, absolutely nothing, against Celestial Tea. It’s all tea that my little palette apparently rejects. If you love tea, this will be a very fun stop. It was a fun stop for us without even liking tea so I feel sure you will love it if you’re already a fan. The gift shop sells individual sample tea bags for 25 cents. And yes.. I did. I did it. I bought 3 more to try. Because, you just never know.
