road to lake havasu
1we cruised out of mesa (reluctantly.. the resort & pool really sucked us in!)
headed toward lake havasu…some pictures of the road in between.
the road winds along the colorado river (separating arizona & california)
after seeing the above waterways & marshes we were excited about lake havasu…
and then we saw this:
spring break 2011. oye.
it is very hot here. 85 degrees feels like 105.
think ant under a magnifying glass + lots of partying. double oye.
this is spring, we were told 130 in the summer. ouch.
