line us up and call us crazy but do you see how tiny that cart is that takes you to the top of the arch? you have to ride in almost total darkness (except for the small neon glow of the tube lighting within) so hmm.. no. no thank you. it was unanimous. thanks for being tour guide nanc..our visit was just perfect!
*please & thank you* link back to us if you re-post something you see here.

bummer you skipped the ride up — you actually exit the car at the top (like an elevator) and get to walk around what seems like a surprisingly large viewing room where the windows are. You can feel the arch swaying a little (by design) in the wind. Definitely worth the time.
oooh! so good to know.. we didn’t see that you got to do that, although i still think that ride might not be for the faint of heart when it comes to being a bit claustrophobic, but that definitely makes the ride much more worth it, so glad you told us (; and the gift shop/museum/etc. that are in the bottom are really cool too and i forgot to mention.. thanks for commenting!
Very cool that you got to visit the Arch! I couldn’t go in that thing. After getting an MRI, I found that small, confined spaces really freak me out. It would be cool at the top, though!
molly.. i don’t feel like i have a problem with small spaces but then when i saw that “cart” and the super long ride up and back down i think i realized maybe i’m not so good with all small spaces haha!!! but even without the ride, it is so cool in person! (;
Love the last picture! BEAUTIFUL!
