i am a whiskey girl already but i have to say that i fell a little more for jack daniel’s after this tour. every single drop of jd’s for the entire world comes from this one facility in lynchburg, tennessee. and what makes it so special is the water. (of course!) it is hands down one of the most interesting tours he and i have been on, big thanks to mark (our guide) who was amazing and surely made the tour as good as it was. we learned so much and highly recommend it if you are anywhere close. did you know j.d. was only 5’2? (the photo shows him with his crew, all sitting except him) and all of this whiskey from a dry county, crazy! here’s the website if you want to visit.. call ahead for reservations, we were lucky to walk in and go.
…the trees around distillery’s turn black, if you’re walking through the woods and see this,
turn around & leave. or else you just might get yourself shot.
