denver botanic gardens, part one

i am a new member of the denver botanic gardens *thanks* to mamma mia, such a great gift!!! we went and spent an entire long morning here and it is amazing. the current special exhibit is kizuna : west meets east and we could not get over the bamboo installations. the river, pictured below, is awe inspiring, and there are so many more bamboo pieces all throughout the gardens. i’m breaking our visit into multiple posts because there is so much to share, too many beautiful flowers to show you!
this was my first gardens to ever visit, do you belong to one or have one that you recommend? there is a great spot to eat lunch in the middle of the gardens (the best lemonade), children’s programs (in fact an entire separate interactive children’s gardens i’ll show later), concerts, so much to do and see. gonna love this membership all year, me & him are going back soon since he couldn’t go with us. as a side note, what’s your favorite flower? mine, peonies.

So fun! Mac went to the Chicago Botanic Gardens yesterday on a field trip:) My favorite flower is the Hydrangea! Love peonies too, just not the ants!!!!! haha
Your pics are so cool, I LOVE the bamboo! You’ve inspired me to go to the Botanic Gardens, we haven’t been since our wedding day. My favorite flower is also peonies.. I have some in my kitchen in a mason jar right now that I picked from my sister-in-law’s garden!
