funny fact. i don’t like tea, but i try. over and over, like an insane person. i have bought so many flavors of tea thinking…this will be the one. and it never, ever, is. i always take a sip or two and hate it. the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. guilty as charged! which leads to our little excursion to the celestial tea factory.
the tour of the factory is free and they have about 8-10 teas going at all times for free sampling. neither he nor i are super big into guided tours, makes us feel antsy and trapped and wanting to run for our lives. sad, but true. anyway, i thought it would be neat so we went in prepared for battle but the factory wasn’t in work mode that day so it was just enough to sway us to skip it, for now. we do want to go back when they are working and visit the famous peppermint room. have you been?
we did sample each and every tea, well i did. he tried 2, maybe three and felt like he was being tortured. i persisted and no luck on finding the one. nothing, absolutely nothing against celestial tea. it’s all tea that my palette apparently rejects. if you love tea, this will be a very fun stop. it was a fun stop for us without even liking tea so i feel sure you will love it if you’re already a fan. the gift shop sells individual sample tea bags for 25 cents. and yes i did. i bought 3 more to try because you just never know.
